Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Twozey is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require registration, an email address, or any personal information to use our service. Information we may collect includes:

• Browser type and version
• Device information
• IP address (for abuse prevention and to route your connection)
• The gender, age, and chat preferences you select before starting a chat
• The country your connection appears to originate from
• Usage data and analytics

2. Camera and Microphone Access

When you start a chat on Twozey, your browser asks permission to use your camera and microphone. If you grant it, your video and audio are sent live to the person you are matched with, for the duration of that chat only.

We do not record your camera or microphone, we do not store your video or audio, and no recording of your chats is kept by us at any time. When you press Stop or Next, or close the page, the connection is torn down immediately and your camera stops being transmitted.

3. How Video Chats Are Connected

Chats on this site are peer-to-peer: wherever possible your video and audio travel directly between your device and your chat partner's device, and do not pass through our servers at all. Your streams are always encrypted in transit.

Some networks — mobile networks in particular — do not allow a direct connection. In that case the call is routed through a relay server (Cloudflare Realtime TURN) so that it can still connect. Your video and audio remain encrypted end-to-end while relayed: neither we nor Cloudflare can view or listen to the contents of your chat.

4. What Your Chat Partner Can See

Please read this section carefully before using the chat. When you are matched with someone, they are shown the gender and age you selected and the country your connection appears to come from. They are not told which of our websites you came from, and we never show them your email or any account details, because we do not collect any.

Two things are inherent to live video chat and we want you to understand them. First, because a peer-to-peer connection is direct, your IP address can be visible to the person you are connected to, and theirs to you; when the call is relayed instead, your IP address is hidden from them. Second, anyone you chat with can record or screenshot what they see using software on their own device. We cannot detect or prevent this. Please do not show or say anything you would not want recorded.

5. Matching and Text Chat

To pair you with someone, your browser opens a connection to our matching service and sends the gender, age, and preferences you chose. This information is held in memory only, for as long as you stay connected, and is discarded when you close the page. We do not keep a database of users, sessions, or matches.

Text messages you send during a chat travel directly to your chat partner over the same peer connection as the video. They are not sent to our servers, are not logged, and are erased from your browser when the chat ends.

6. Information Stored in Your Browser

Twozey stores two things locally on your device: your confirmation that you are 18 or older, so we do not ask again on every visit, and the chat preferences you selected, which last only until you close the tab. You can remove both at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with Twozey. You can opt out of analytics tracking by using browser privacy settings or extensions.

8. Third-Party Services

When no other user is available to chat with, Twozey shows live cam rooms from a third-party cam platform, clearly labelled as such. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

9. Data Retention

We retain minimal data and only for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Chat sessions, video, audio, and text messages are never recorded or stored by us.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect. All connections to Twozey are encrypted via HTTPS, and all video, audio, and text exchanged in a chat is encrypted in transit.

11. Age Restriction

Twozey is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. You are asked to confirm your age before entering the chat. If we become aware that a minor is using the service, we will terminate that access.

12. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we may hold. Since we collect minimal data and do not require accounts, most users have no stored personal information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
